M & A reached out to me a couple weeks before their big day to say they wanted bridal portraits in Traverse City while they were visiting A’s parents lake house. It just so happened that the time frame would be perfectly timed with the end of my family vacation! Can you say serendipitous!?

If you’re not from the beautiful state of Michigan you probably don’t know much about northern summers. With its incredible views, endless activities and some of my favorite food Traverse City has become one of our favorite vacation spots.

It’s been awhile since we’ve been able to get away so we took the week to relax on the beach, spend a day driving up the coast to our favorite wineries and walking around downtown eating all that Traverse City has to offer.

M & A drove in from Chicago to spend the weekend with their family and celebrate their court house wedding from that morning, I met them out at their lake house where we drove down the road to shoot with A’s dads Porsche and the cherry trees. We ended our session on their walk way down to the lake. Let’s just say it was a HOT one but these two made it worth it with their chic wedding attire and timeless look.
