Where to begin with this one! My time with the Liston’s will be one I remember forever! From my first call with Katey I knew they were my ideal couple, she was so sweet & they are SO in love lol. Their winter wedding took place at The Peak at Edison (www.thepeakatedison.com) in Columbus, Ohio, in December, and while it was a super cold day it was bright & shining! I felt like I was walking into a Kate Spade inspired wedding, Katey did most of the signs herself which I thought was so awesome for all the little sayings she came up with!!

My favorite signs:
Katey put together a table full of her favorite people A legacy of love & commitment which had all of their parents, grandparents & aunts & uncles wedding photos + the amount of years they’ve been married. So unique and something I haven’t seen done before!!

The seating chart for the event was also unique, while most say “take a seat or whatever cliche thing someone comes up with” This one said The people who shaped us, which I thought was such a nod to just how important their family & friends are to them!

The last little detail I loved was on all the table numbers, you’ve got me touching heaven was displayed and I couldn’t help but go back to all the things they said to each other throughout the day about how intertwined God was through their entire relationship.

If I had to choose other favorite moments from the day it’d be these:

 When I walked into the bridal suite I was greeted with the biggest smiles & warm hugs, her mom told me I was their dream photographer and their date was literally based around my schedule! ( SOMEONE PINCH ME HOW DO I GET TO DO THIS JOB) What an amazing way to end my wedding season.

When I went to get Zeke and take him down for the first look all of his brothers were praying over him, one by one giving him blessings and filling him with God’s love. It’s always little moments like this where I’m in awe of the moments I get to witness and be a part of. The photo is by far one of my favorites I’ve ever taken.

After the first look I took Katey & Zeke over to this spot filled with the most beautiful soft light and I positioned Katey and as she turned a burst of light lit up her face and Zeke was standing next to me and all you could hear was “wow” & if that wasn’t the biggest swoon moment I’ve ever had I’m not sure what is.

Some other details to mention:

Katey’s grandmother made the most stunning cake! Her dad wanted a photo of him & his mom next to it, it was the cutest thing ever.

The Liston’s have a saying between them it goes “same team” and it was incorporated throughout their day. Katey gifted a watch to Zeke with it inscribed inside and she took a nod from Hailey Bieber’s day and wrote the saying on the bottom of her veil.

Ericka from Ericka Greene Events (www.erickagreeneevents.com) literally did the most amazing job at coordinating the day. She was so accommodating and every detail of the Liston’s vision was executed perfectly.
It was my first time working with Denise & Erica for hair & make-up and let me just say they make the MOST incredible team and now I know why they are top tier for Columbus

Genevieve Brune from Blumen (www.blumencbus.com) is one of my favorite florist in the Columbus area. Not only is she so sweet, and I’ve worked with her multiple times, but everything she creates is pure magic!!
