There’s something about a Northern Michigan wedding that feels instantly calming, and this day at the Bay Harbor Yacht Club was exactly that. A week full of crazy weather and the Harrington's couldn't have picked a better day.

Tucked along the shoreline in Bay Harbor, Michigan, the entire celebration felt thoughtful, welcoming, and deeply present from beginning to end. From special moments with loved ones to running around downtown Bay Harbor for bridal portraits the day felt intentional and soaked in sunshine. 

As a Michigan wedding photographer, I can't get enough of photographing Northern, Michigan. Between the quiet towns and lakeside breeze I personally don't think there's anything better in the summertime.

’m always drawn to weddings that allow space for my couples to truly experience the day as it’s unfolding, and the Harrington's did just that. Kelsey and Zach leaned into a timeless design with white and green florals, layered with meaningful details that reflected them so well without ever feeling overdone. Every part of the day felt effortless in the best way.

The ceremony took place down by the water with the bay as the backdrop, creating such a peaceful setting for their vows. Afterwards, guests gathered on the veranda overlooking the harbor for cocktail hour, enjoying the lake breeze, conversation, and the kind of atmosphere that makes Northern Michigan weddings so memorable.
