If you're considering getting married in downtown Detroit, MI I highly suggest starting your morning at one of the many boutique hotels downtown has to offer. The Purzysckis chose to spend their morning at the Westin downtown, the hotel has the most gorgeous suites with natural lighting and modern furniture that is the perfect backdrop to the morning of!

These two chose to get married in November so when I say it was a chilly one, trust me! After having their first look and family portraits at the hotel the group of us went over to the Detroit Public Library for portraits. I may be a little biased because I live near there but the Detroit Public Library is one of the most stunning and iconic buildings in Detroit, MI. Known for its architecture, the building looks straight out of something from Italy. 

This was actually my first time going to the Colony Club and I have to say I couldn't be more obsessed. From its architecture to its characteristic corners it had a vintage feel without going too hard on the vintage aspect.
